I hear a lot of questions when I am at work giving massages and one of the most common ones questions is, is it rude to fall asleep during a massage?
Absolutely not! Although, you would probably remember more of it if you were awake but, to me, if someone falls asleep on the massage table, it’s kind of a compliment. To me it means I have helped you to feel comfortable and relaxed enough in a very vulnerable situation where you are able to completely let go and fall asleep.
So go ahead and snore away! I will wake you when it’s time to flip over or when the massage is finished!
